Pedestrian in critical condition after being struck by vehicle in northeast Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A person is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle Saturday night in northeast Columbus.

According to Columbus Police, the accident took place on the 6000 block of Cleveland Avenue at approximately 11:06 p.m.

The driver in the accident remained at the scene.

The victim was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital.

There is no further information available at this time.
