COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Medics took a person to an area hospital in serious but stable condition after a shooting north of Morse Road on Monday afternoon.

According to police dispatchers, the shooting happened in the 4000 block of Carahan Road at 4:39 p.m. in the afternoon.

When officers got to the scene, they found a person who had been shot in the neck. Medics took the person to Ohio State University Hospital, where they were expected to survive their injuries.

The victim was shot following an altercation; police want to arrest a man for felonious assault.
