COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person is in critical condition after being shot in east Columbus Thursday evening.

Just before 7:30 p.m., Columbus police responded to the 1500 block of East Main Street on a reported shooting, dispatchers said. The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center.

Dispatchers said the suspect fled the scene, though surveillance video footage showed two unknown individuals firing multiple shots at the victim before they fled the scene. Police blocked off the parking lot of M&R Wine Shop and are at the scene investigating.
