Man killed in east Columbus drive-by shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A man is dead after a shooting on the east side of Columbus Sunday night.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 10:13 p.m., Sunday, officers were called to the 400 block of S. Hampton Road on the report of a drive-by shooting.  

When police arrived on scene, they found Martin Lemounte Hall, 43, suffering from a gunshot wound.  

Hall was taken to Grant Medical Center where he later died from his injury.  

Police say it appears the shooting stemmed from an argument that happened earlier in the day. 

Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to call the CPD Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
