COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – One person was injured Sunday afternoon in a shooting on the northeast side of Columbus.

Police said the shooting happened on the 3000 block of Morsetown Court South at approximately 5:40 p.m.

According to police, the victim, a 34-year-old man, was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in serious condition from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was later upgraded to a stable condition.

Ibrahim A. Osman, 42, was arrested on a felonious assault charge in connection with the shooting.
