COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is in stable condition after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting in north Columbus Tuesday night.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, around 8:53 p.m., Monday, officers were called to the 2100 block of N. High Street on the report of a shooting.  

When officers arrived on scene, they found a 25-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 

Police say he was putting money into a parking meter when he was shot.  

The victim was taken to an area hospital, and according to police he is expected to recover from his injuries.
