COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A teenager is recovering after being shot in northeast Columbus Friday afternoon.

According to police, officers responded to a house on the 2000 block of Joyce Avenue in the Argyle Park neighborhood shortly before 5 p.m. on a reported shooting. A 16-year-old boy was transported to Ohio State University East Hospital in critical condition.

In a Saturday morning update, police say the teenager is expected to recover from his injuries.
