COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – One person has been hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting Thursday in the North Linden neighborhood.
An officer at the scene said the victim drove themselves to a Mobil gas station at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and East Weber Road to get help after being shot in the neck about six blocks to the east. Police received the call around 6:44 p.m.
The victim told police that he had been shot by an unknown suspect on the 2000 block of Minnesota Avenue. The person was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive their injuries.
