COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person was hospitalized and a road has been shut down following a traffic accident on the city’s east side.

Around 9:15 p.m. Friday, two vehicles were involved in an accident that has shut down Courtright Road between Groves Road and East Deshler Avenue, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

One person was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.
