COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A woman and the suspected shooter are dead, and four others are injured after an early morning shooting Saturday in South Linden.

Columbus police were called about 3:45 a.m. to the 1400 block of St. Clair Avenue, where they found five people, including the suspect, injured from gunshot wounds. A sixth victim was injured and is in stable condition, but was not shot, police said.

According to police, 28-year-old Taylin Roland was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:41 a.m. The other three victims were hospitalized and are all expected to recover from their injuries. In a Saturday afternoon update, police say that two other people were inside a house that the suspect allegedly shot into but were not injured.

Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant said the suspect in the shooting, identified as Keith Pleasant, 29, was taken to the hospital in critical condition due to a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound. Pleasant was pronounced dead at the hospital later in the day, according to Columbus police.
