Argument leads to fatal shooting in South Franklinton, Columbus police say


COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One man died Friday morning in South Franklinton after police say an argument led to a shooting.

Columbus police were called to the 600 block of Van Buren Drive about 5:30 a.m. on a report of a shooting. A victim was located lying in a grassy area and pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they are working to identify the victim.

Investigators believe an argument broke out between the victim and the shooter.

There is no suspect information at this time.
