COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A woman has died after a shooting in East Linden on Thursday.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of Aberdeen Avenue at 7:57 p.m. on Thursday after report of a shooting, according to the Columbus Division of Police. The victim, 69-year-old Linda Lee Johnson, was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition before she were pronounced dead at 8:22 p.m.

Police said Friday that the incident was part of a drive-by shooting, with them on the outlook for a Honda Accord from the 2018 to ’22 model years that was seen in the area.
