Man dies after shooting in east Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A man has died after a shooting in east Columbus Monday afternoon.

Columbus Police said the shooting happened at approximately 3:57 p.m. on the 500 block of South Napoleon Avenue.

According to police, the victim, Tyler Ross, 29, was inside his home when another man arrived. After a brief argument, police said shots were fired and the suspect fled the home on foot.

The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:18 p.m.
