COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A man was rescued by Columbus Fire after he fell in a hole at a construction site on Kenny Road, causing the road to be closed.

Columbus Fire said the man was a construction worker and called 911 around 8:40 a.m. after falling in the hole at the 2000 block of Kenny Road.

He was transported to a hospital in stable condition as Columbus Fire said a culvert replacement will happen at the site.

Kenny Road was closed between Woody Hayes Drive and Kinnear Road.
