Columbus Police cruiser involved in crash

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A Columbus Police officer was uninjured after the cruiser they were driving struck a power pole.

According to police, the crash happened at approximately 5:13 p.m. near the intersection of Refugee Road and Citizens Place on the southeast side of Columbus.

The single-vehicle crash caused the power pole to come down.

There is no further information available.
