COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Gas prices for Columbus drivers continue to drop.  

GasBuddy reports the cost for a gallon of gas around Columbus averages $3.81, which is 7.9 cents cheaper than the previous week.  

Prices are 26.4 cheaper than a month ago, but stand $1.08 higher than a year ago.  

The cheapest gas station in Columbus was $3.49 a gallon, while the most expensive was $4.09.  

Nationally, prices dropped 7.5 cents, averaging $4.10 a gallon.
