COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A child was hospitalized after being shot Wednesday night by another child on a playground in east Columbus, according to Columbus police.
Officers responded to the 3300 block of Broadmoor Avenue in Eastmoor and found a juvenile – whose gender and age have not been publicly released – suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in stable condition.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:05 p.m. and was originally reported as happening at a playground in the Eastmoor Square apartments on Alexander Lane.
