Body found Sunday afternoon in northeast Columbus


A body was found on September 12, 2021, at this location on Beulah Road, Columbus.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A body was found in a parking lot in North Linden on Sunday afternoon.

According to police dispatch, the person was found at 1:49 p.m. in the 2600 block of Beulah Road.

UPDATE: According to a media release, on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 1:49PM, Columbus Police Officers were called to the alley west of the 2600 block of Beulah Rd. on a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle.

On arrival, officers found a man lying in the alley. CFD Medic 13 responded and pronounced him dead at 1:58PM.

The man’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
