Blacklick shooting leaves man dead

BLACKLICK, Ohio (WCMH) — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the Blacklick area.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, just after 5 a.m., Thursday, officers were called to the 100 block of Heatherbridge Lane on the report of shots fired.  

When officers arrived on scene, they found Stephen A. Gonzlez-Gammon, 22, lying in the entrance way of the apartment complex.  

Gonzlez-Gammon was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.  

Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to call the CPD Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
