AEP reports power restored in areas north of Downtown Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — AEP reported that some 5,800 customers were without power in Columbus after storms blew through the area on Thursday afternoon.

Around 5 p.m., Thursday, the outage map for AEP showed customers without power in the areas from Goodale Road north to King Avenue between Downtown and the Ohio State campus.

The power has since been restored for nearly all customers.
