Columbus police searching for suspect after woman killed in early morning shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A woman was killed and two other people were injured after a shooting in northeast Columbus, Wednesday morning.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 4:33am, officers were called to the 1800 block of Argyle Drive on the report of a shooting.

Later officers were dispatched to Ohio State University East Hospital on the report of three walk-in shooting victims.

One of the victims Tiarra Tasha Seals, 22, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Another victim, Dreamma Lynn Montgomery, 41, was listed in critical condition. The third victim, Dwayne Thomas Madison Sr., 58, was treated and released.

Police say the suspect, Leo Duane Stanford Jr., 21, and Seals were acquaintances and had been in a relationship at one time. Stanford fled from the scene after the shooting, and his current whereabouts are unknown at this time.

According to police, Stanford should be considered armed and dangerous.
