Columbus police searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ murder suspect

COLUMBUS, OH (WCMH) – Columbus police are searching for the suspect accused of shooting and killing a man on the northeast side of the city.

At about 11:06pm, Friday, April 13, officers were dispatched to a home on the 4700 block of Larkhall Lane on the report of a shooting.

When officers arrived on scene, they found Todd Ellis Lancaster, 45, inside suffering from a gunshot wound.

Lancaster was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition where he later died from his injuries. 

Police say they are searching for Hasani Lateef Goosby Jr., 21, who has been charged with Lancaster’s murder. Goosby Jr. should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
