Columbus police search for south Linden man suspected of November murder

Columbus police have filed an arrest warrant for a man they say is responsible for the fatal shooting of a man outside of a bar in November of last year.

Kailen Ellison, 21, whose last known address was on Gladstone Avenue in south Linden, was charged yesterday in Franklin County Municipal Court for the death of Martise Maddox-Suddith.

According to Columbus Police, Maddox-Suddith was shot outside of the Grand Champion North bar on the evening of November 19, 2017.  He was pronounced dead at the scene by Columbus medics.

Columbus Police are actively searching for Ellison. They say that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators say there is also a second person of interest who has not yet been charged.
