Columbus Police report power outage affecting traffic signals in the city

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus Police are reporting a power outage that is affecting traffic signals around Columbus.

According to a tweet posted by the department, the outage is affecting traffic lights primarily in southeast Columbus, the downtown area, and north of downtown near Ohio State University.

Columbus Police reminded motorists that when they approach a nonworking traffic signal, the intersection should be treated as a four-way stop.
