COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The Columbus Division of Police says one of its officers was treated with Narcan as a precaution after possibly being exposed to a drug during an arrest on the west side of the city.

Police Sgt. Dean Worthington said the officer was taken to Grant Medical Center for observation after possibly coming in contact with an unknown substance at the Pilot gas station at 3600 Interchange Road close to 5pm Sunday.

An arrest was made in the case.

Worthington could not confirm the officer’s condition.
