One person in critical condition after fight, shooting in North Linden

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — According to the Columbus Division of Police, just after 8 p.m., Tuesday, officers were called to the 3100 block of Hamilton Avenue on the report of a shooting.  

When officers arrived on scene, they found the 33-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  

Witnesses told police the victim and Donte Knight, 42, got into a fight, when Knight pulled a handgun and shot the victim.  

The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive his injuries, according to police.  

Columbus police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information on this shooting to call the Felony Assault Unit at 614-645-4218 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
