Columbus Fire investigates explosion at automotive stamping facility on southeast side

COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Firefighters are investigating an explosion that caused a small fire in southeast Columbus.

The Columbus Division of Fire says firefighters were dispatched to an automotive stamping facility after an explosion occurred at 1355 Marion Road, early Wednesday morning.

According to Columbus Fire, the small fire was extinguished, and no one was hurt.

Authorities are still investigating the source of the explosion.
