Columbus City Schools narrows list in superintendent search

COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Thursday, Columbus City Schools narrowed its search to find the district’s next superintendent.

The school board voted on three semi-finalist candidates to move forward.

They are:

  • Terry Dade – Asst. Superintendent from Fairfax Public Schools in Virginia
  • Talisa Dizon – Superintendent of Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District
  • Ava Tasker Mitchell – Assistant Superintendent for Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland.

Current Columbus City Schools Interim Superintendent John Stanford is not one of the finalists.
