Columbus City Council approves settlement with pair arrested with Stormy Daniels

Local News

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Two local exotic dancers who were arrested with adult film star Stormy Daniels last year will split a six-figure settlement from the City of Columbus.

Columbus City Council approved a $150,000 dollar payout Monday for Miranda Panda and Brittany Walters.

The pair claimed they suffered emotional distress and believed their arrests by the Columbus Division of Police were politically motivated.

Charges were dropped against Panda and Walters a week later. Charges also were dropped against Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

Clifford, who says Donald Trump paid her $130,000 during the 2016 presidential campaign to cover up an affair, sued Columbus vice officers this month.
