Central Ohio Red Cross in desperate need of blood donations

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH)– The American Red Cross in Central Ohio says they are not collecting enough blood currently to keep up with hospital demand.

Red Cross Central and Southern Ohio Regional Communications Director Marita Salkowski says blood donation appointments have declined, and they are starting to see people not showing up for their scheduled appointments.
