Bomb threat reported at Graham Expeditionary Middle School

COLUMBUS, OH (WCMH) – The Columbus Division of Fire and Police are investigating a possible bomb threat at Graham Expeditionary Middle School.

According to the Columbus police radio room, a bomb threat was reported at Graham Expeditionary Middle School at around 2:00 p.m. This prompted the Columbus fire department to use dogs to investigate the school campus.

Police and firefighters cleared the scene before 4 p.m. and found nothing threatening.

The school released the following statement:

GEMS has been evacuated due to a threat written on a bathroom wall.  All students are safe.
Administration is following protocol and cooperating with the Columbus Police and Columbus Fire Departments who are onsite now.   We hope to dismiss on time.
