CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (WCMH) — A body found Monday night in a Chillicothe park has been identified as a missing woman who was last seen in nearly five months ago.

Investigators with the Ross County Coroner’s Office positively identified the body as 63-year-old Linda Roach. Roach was reported missing in November 2018.

An investigator said a preliminary autopsy showed no signs of apparent trauma. Her cause of death remains under investigation.

According to the Chillicothe Police Department, officers and deputies from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Goldie Gunlock Park behind the former Max and Erma’s restaurant just after 7:30 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found Roach’s body partially submerged in the wetland waters.

This is the second body found in a Chillicothe park in as many weeks. On April 6, a man’s body was found in a pond in Yoctangee Park.
