Body found along Scioto River in Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police in Columbus are investigating after a man’s body washed up on the banks of the Scioto River.

According to Columbus police, someone called 911 around 5:44 p.m. Wednesday to report finding a body. The caller told dispatchers the man was ‘beyond medical help.’

The man was pronounced dead at 5:53 p.m.

The incident remains under investigation.
