Blue Jackets have switched to paperless tickets

Local News

The Columbus Blue Jackets have switched to paperless tickets.

Fans attending games will now use a barcode on their cell phones as their game ticket to enter Nationwide Arena.

To use the new digital system, fans must download the official NHL smartphone app, launch the NHL app and select Blue Jackets as their favorite team and then go through several more steps to get their tickets, which cannot be printed.

Blue Jackets officials say mobile ticketing is the safest, most convenient and flexible way to manage tickets and prevent fraud.

No additional costs will be added to tickets as a result of the new digital system, Blue Jackets officials said.
