COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A suspect has been arrested in Monday’s car theft where an infant was left in the car.

Dangelo C. Stewart, 18, of Reynoldsburg, was arrested Monday afternoon.

Columbus Police were called to the United Dairy Farmers store on Tussing Road and Reynoldsburg Road at approximately 1:30 p.m. Monday about a stolen vehicle with a 7-month-old child in the back seat.

The vehicle, with the child safe inside, was found on Delaware Crossing Street in Reynoldsburg, a short distance away from the United Dairy Farmers store where it was reported stolen, about 20 minutes later.
