Winter’s grip isn’t letting go just yet.
Another round of April snow is set to move in overnight. By the morning drive tomorrow, a light coating will be on the ground in many areas, mainly on the grass, cars, tree limbs and other elevated surfaces. Only light accumulation is expected, with most areas getting a half-inch or less. Temperatures in many areas will be below freezing, so there could be a few icy spots on bridges & overpasses.
The afternoon tomorrow is drier, with only a few flurries or rain showers possible. Highs reach the mid 40s. A few more mixed rain/snow showers are possible for Tuesday, but again, it won’t add up to much.
Mid-week through next weekend will look and feel much different. Sunshine returns Wednesday with highs near 60, and 70s make a comeback on Friday. C’mon spring!
