15 guns, many stolen, seized in Columbus drug raid

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Guns, drugs and cash were seized Thursday after police executed a search warrant at a Columbus home.

According to the Whitehall Division of Police, it started with an investigation into heroin trafficking in the City of Whitehall.

The warrant was served at a home on the 1400 block of East Maynard Avenue in Columbus.

According to police, detectives seized 91 grams of cocaine, 51 grams of heroin, 82 grams of marijuana, $41,044 in cash and 15 guns. Police said seven of the guns were reported stolen.

Earl Hines, 34, was arrested and charged with possession of drugs. Police say Hines could be indicted on other charges in the future.
