Police: 2 men apparently fatally shot each other in southeast Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Two men are dead after a shooting on the southeast side of Columbus.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 3:41pm, Wednesday, a person was driving in the area of the 6000 block of Lagrange Drive when they discovered a man lying on the ground who appeared to have been shot, with a gun next to him.  

Officers responded to the scene and found a second man in a Jeep Grand Cherokee, suffering from a gunshot wound, also with a gun near him. 

Police have identified the men as Trever B. Williams, 31, and Michael C. McKee, 35. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.  

Police stated that it appears the two shot each other, but it remains under investigation.
