A man who attended porn star Stormy Daniels’ show Wednesday night at Siren’s Gentlemen’s Club, 6190 Cleveland Avenue, called the shows, “Good, clean, adult fun.”
Chuck Pennington told NBC Investigator Tom Sussi that he didn’t witness anything that prompted the Columbus Police to arrest Daniels and two other dancers. “I didn’t see anything unwarranted going on,” he said. “People were buying drinks, people were enjoying the dancers, they were there to make a living, and the guys were there to pay for it.”
Pennington figures police quietly arrested Daniels and two other dancers backstage after Daniels’ first appearance around midnight. “I waited and thought she would come out and do another set at one o’clock. As it got later, and she wasn’t coming out, I asked around and found out she wasn’t going to be coming out.”
Pennington said he purchased the Stormy Daniels VIP package. He estimates between 50 and 60 people caught the show. “I paid $75 for the meet and greet, and $40 for a photo and autographed picture.”
Pennington said, “I just think it makes a good headline. It leads people to believe that something was going on that wasn’t.”
Sussi checked with the Ohio Investigative Unit, the agency that investigates complaints at adult clubs. In 2014, OIU charged Sirens with improper conduct (nudity), and illegal alcohol sales.
