HighBall Halloween road closures


COLUMBUS (WCMH) – If you’re headed downtown this weekend, there will be some road closures due to HighBall Halloween.

High Street will be closed between Goodale St. and Nationwide Blvd. betwee n 6pm Friday and 6am Sunday.

That includes the intersections of High and Swan St., High and Vine St. and High and Spruce St.

During the event, COTA’s CBUS will run until 3am to accommodate partygoers.

Due to street closures for the event, the CBUS will be rerouted as follows:

Northbound: The CBUS will continue east on Nationwide Boulevard across High Street, turn left on 4th Street, left on 2nd Avenue, right on High Street, right on 3rd Avenue, into its regular layover.

Southbound: The CBUS will turn right on Summit Street, right on Chestnut Street, left on High Street, and resume its regular route.

Highball Halloween is an annual elaborate costume party that takes place in downtown Columbus. The event is hosted by the Short North Alliance and helps raise money for the organization.
