COLUMBUS (WCMH) – It’s called the most elaborate costume party in the nation. HighBall Halloween is a party like no other, encouraging creativity and costumes for a two-night event.
“Everyone dresses up and in many ways neighbors any friends that you see walking the street are some of the most exciting things you’ll see at HighBall,” says exec. dir. of the Short North Alliance Betsy Pandora.
NBC4’s Monica Day is hosting the event this year with drag queen Nina West. Nearly 30,000 people are expected to attend. Organizers say it’s meant to bridge runway style with the culture of the Short North Arts District.

General admission is $10. The party goes on until 1 am.
