Spooky season is in full swing, fall weather is finally here and there are plenty of inexpensive ways to celebrate the season this weekend.

From adults-only trick-or-treating to fun for the whole family at vintage fall festivals, there’s something fall-like for everyone this weekend right here in central Ohio.

All Weekend

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Head over to the Short North Stage for a professional production of everyone’s time-warping favorite cult classic. The show opens Friday night at 8pm and it runs through Nov. 18. Tickets are just $35. Tap or click here for details.


Spooktacular Craft Fair

Still need some Halloween decorations? Stop by the Spooktacular Craft Fair at Westerville North High School on Saturday morning. Admission is free and there will be more than 120 vendors on hand. Harvest Moon Fall Festival

Grab the family and head over to Infirmary Mound Park where you’ll celebrate fall 1840s-style! The festival features pumpkin painting, crafts, artists, carriage rides, children’s crafts, a petting zoo, a food truck and more. Admission is free. Tap or click here for more details.

Historic Dublin Family Fall Festival

Celebrate the season with the whole family Saturday in Historic Dublin. With free admission, more than 20 vendors, free trick or treating for the kids, tons of free crafting activities, live entertainment and more, there’s something for everyone. Tap or click here for more details.

All Hallows Eve

Take a step back in time and experience a traditional 19th century Halloween at the Ohio Village. Presented by the Ohio History Connection, this 1890s-style family-friendly event features a fireside retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, pumpkin carving, fortune telling and more. Admission for non-Ohio History Connection members is $14 for adults, $11 for kids and children ages 3 and under get in free. Tap or click here for more details.

Monster Bash

Who said trick-or-treating is only for kids? Head over to German Village Saturday night for an adults-only trick-or-treat path featuring dangerously delicious concoctions. Then, head over to the Monster Bash party at the Meeting Haus for drinks, food, dancing and a costume contest. You can even make your own s’mores outside. Finally, stop by the official after party at the Daily Growler for post-party drinks. Tickets are $75, but all but $25 of the ticket is tax-deductible. Tap or click here for more information.

Free Goosebumps 2 Party

Head over to the Marcus Theatres in Pickerington and the Crosswoods and celebrate the opening of Goosebumps 2! The free pre-movie party has free Halloween-themed crafts, free treats, prize giveaways and more. Then, make sure you stay for the film and watch R.L. Shock Around the Clock

You won’t want to miss this, horror fans! The Drexel is hosting the 10th annual 24-hour horror movie marathon this weekend. Featuring 12 films like From Dusk Till Dawn, The Innocents, Pumpkinhead and the premieres of Luz and Crystal Eyes and more, it’s guaranteed to be a creepy 24 hours.
