FORECAST DISCUSSION:
A cold front will finally make its way south into the Buckeye State today. Ahead of it showers and thunderstorms will move through the area this morning and a chance of scattered showers and storms, possibly strong to severe, this afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-80s. With the front near southern Ohio and the loss of daytime heating it should be pretty quiet overnight. It will stay cloudy with only isolated pop-ups possible. Morning lows will be near 60.

The frontal system continues to give us a chance of convection. As a warm front it will lift north across the region, but this time with little other instability. The risk of any showers or storms is very low except northeast tomorrow. It may take a while but highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

Saturday will be the better of the weekend days with the front well to our north. There will be a chance of a few scattered pop-ups. Highs will be in the mid-upper 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will be likely Sunday with highs in the low 80s. There will be some scattered pop-ups Memorial Day.

Don’t forget your umbrella.
