Suspect in April fatal shooting arraigned in court

The Columbus Division of Police says officers have arrested an armed and dangerous suspect wanted on murder charges for a shooting that left one man dead in April.

According to police, Hasani Goosby Jr.,  21, was arrested by the Columbus Police SWAT Team without incident Friday night. Goosby is accused of shooting 45-year-old Todd Ellis Lancaster on the evening of April 13, 2018, at a home on the 4700 block of Larkhill Lane. Lancaster was taken to Grant Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Goosby was arraigned on murder charges in Franklin County Municipal Court, and a judge set his bond at $1.5 million.
