COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of two men who robbed a northeast Columbus gas station at gunpoint and pistol-whipped the cashier.

Police say two unknown men entered the Sunoco on the 1900 block of Schrock Road around noon on Sunday, Nov. 25. The men walked around the checkout counter and one of them pointed a small black handgun at the cashier.  The first suspect went into the back office looking for the safe while the second suspect pulled out a blue bag from his pants pocket and pushed the cashier around, trying to get him to open the register.

When the register was opened, the second suspect grabbed approximately $200 in cash and took several packs of Marlboro cigarette from the display. The first suspect then returned to the front of the store and demanded more cash.

When the cashier told him there was no more cash on hand, the first suspect struck him on the head with the handgun. Both suspects then fled the scene towards Sharon Woods Boulevard and into the Sharon Woods Apartments.

Police say the first suspect is a black male with a medium complexion. He stands between approximately 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 150 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a blueish-gray hooded sweatshirt, a red t-shirt, light-colored jeans with horizontal slashes and brown Timberland boots. He was also wearing a black mask that covered most of his face.

Police say the second suspect is a black male with a light complexion between 25 and 35 years old. He has a mustache and goatee and a medium-sized Afro hairstyle. He stands between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs between 140 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray Cleveland Browns sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
