Police: 16-year-old injured in southeast Columbus shooting


COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Police are investigating after a teenager was shot in southeast Columbus.

According to investigators, Columbus Police officers were dispatched to the area of 968 Wilson Ave. around 4:31 p.m. Saturday on the report of a shooting. Police say the victim, a 16-year-old boy, was walking in a nearby alleyway when he heard gunshots ring out. The victim was struck in the upper body by the gunfire.
