CRIME OF THE WEEK: Reward offered in stolen box trailer case

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who stole a box trailer from a home in west Columbus.

It happened Sunday, Nov. 11, around 6:45 a.m. According to investigators, an unknown man driving a light-colored Chevrolet TrailBlazer pulled into the driveway of a home on Fox Hollow Drive. He exited his vehicle, cut the lock of the trailer parked in the driveway and drove away with it.

The trailer is a black, 6 by 10 Cargo Express box trailer. It is 7 feet tall, has a V-nose front end, a man door on the passenger side and a drop-down rear door. The trailer has a noticeable dent on the passenger side fender and diamond plating a third of the way up the front of the V-nose.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the man responsible for this crime.
