55-year-old woman found dead at Hocking Hills State Park ID’d

The body of a 55-year-old woman was found on Thursday in a remote location at Conkles Hollow State Nature Preserve near Hocking Hills State Park.

The Hocking County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Dana M. Busson of Doylestown.

The investigation into Busson’s death is ongoing.

The Zaleski Fire Department, Hocking County EMS, American Red Cross, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Laurelville Fire Department, Hocking County Sheriff’s Office, City of Logan Fire Department, Hocking County Coroner’s Office, and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) assisted in the recovery operation.

ODNR is reminding all visitors to Hocking Hills State Park and Conkles Hollow to stay on the trail and follow park safety instructions.
