COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in South Linden.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 9:59pm, Wednesday, officers were called to the 1100 block of E. 13th Avenue on the report of a shooting.

When officers arrived on scene, they found Tomika Lee Turner, 36, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Turner was taken to Grant Medical Center where she later died from her injury.

Witnesses told police that Turner was arguing with her “on again/off again,” boyfriend, Roshan Lamar Cumberlander, 37, in front of the location, when he pulled a gun and shot Turner.

Police say Cumberlander is still at large after running from the scene and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Murder charges have been filed against Cumberlander, and police ask anyone with information on this shooting to call the CPD Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
