‘Tis the season to be jolly, and this week we’re going full Griswold on our quest to find the perfect Christmas tree.

I asked NBC4 viewers what their favorite Columbus-area tree lots and farms are, and here’s what they said:

Timbuk Farms

Where: 2030 Timbuk Road, Granville

Tucked away in Granville, Timbuk Farms is one of central Ohio’s oldest and largest Christmas tree farms. With 300 acres filled with thousands of trees of all sizes kinds and prices, you’ll be sure to find exactly what you’re looking for. All trees ready for harvest have the price tag attached to it in the field and you don’t need to bring your own handsaw or twine. As if picking out the perfect tree isn’t enough, Timbuk Farms also offers a snack bar in the warmth of the Timbuk Lidge, complete with a fireplace, hot chocolate, gift shop, restrooms and more. The little ones can also visit Santa and Mrs. Claus on the weekends.

Carson Nurseries

Where: 1162 Blue Jay Road, Newark

While it may be a bit of a drive from Columbus, Carson Nurseries has a great selection of trees at great prices. Cut-your-own trees typically range from $20 to $35 and pre-cut trees start around $15. While you’re there, make sure to enjoy some of the family fun like taking pictures with the snowmen and getting a cup of hot cocoa with some cookies.

Albert Family Tree Farm

Where: 7505 Bunker Hill Road, Amanda

NBC4 viewers can’t say enough good things about Albert Family Tree Farm. From the friendly customer service to the wide selection of reasonably priced trees, this place is a must-stop on your hunt for your Christmas tree. Several customers say they’ve found the “perfect” tree multiple times throughout their time coming to the farm.

Westland Band Tree Sale

Where: 5800 W. Broad Street, Galloway

If you’re looking to support local students and get your tree at the same time, make sure to check out Westland Marching Band’s tree sale. They start the season with 400 trees for you to choose from, and proceeds help support the Westland High School Marching Band. Their sale began on Black Friday and will only last until all trees are sold.

DeMonye’s Greenhouse

Where: 2500 Airport Drive, Columbus

If you would rather skip the trek through a farm looking for the perfect tree, sawing it down and hauling it back out, you should check out DeMonye’s selection of fresh cut and pre-cut Christmas trees. They have just about any size you could ask for as well as extra holiday accents like wreaths, poinsettias and more. Plus, this weekend you can learn how to make your very own mini tree for just $19.98.
